AMO-MAG® are distinctive due to their structure and size of 400nm. As you are familiar with, typical magnetic beads consist of a polymer bead core coated with very small magnetic particles and a second polymer coating. However, the core of our magnetic beads is created through synthesis, and a silica coating is applied to the surface. Consequently, we have a simple method for the final product. In addition, due to the small size of the magnetic bead core, it has a faster response time and higher bio-affinity.
