AMO Bioreactor

Demonstrate the successful coating “Webtrix” of an AMO Bioreactor membrane cartridge with a solution containing a mimetic peptide motif that enhances cell attachment and cell expansion, and that has been designed specifically for scaling up from a staking membrane cartridge.
 
AMO bioreactor can support adherent cell culture at densities of >1 x 105 cells/cm2 for extended culture durations and has facilitated 20-fold cell multiplication and >95% cell viability.
 
The automated washing method was more effective than centrifugation at concentrating and washing larger volumes of cell suspension, thereby reducing cell aggregation and yield loss.
